Cobalt wins government contract to develop technology for screening of liquids at airports

Cobalt Light Systems Limited is pleased to announce that it has secured a significant contract to develop its proprietary technology, spatially offset Raman spectroscopy (SORS), for screening of liquids at airports. This project is funded under the Innovative Research Call in Explosives and Weapons Detection (2010) initiative, a cross-government programme sponsored by a number of government departments and agencies under the CONTEST strategy.

Cobalt Updates ContentQC Software

Cobalt announces the latest version of its ContentQC pharmaceutical analysis software package for use with the TRS100 content uniformity analyser.  The software, which includes a fully-configurable chemometric tool and database engine, gains an update from version 1.7 to version 2.0.  The update adds a number of key features to enhance the breadth and ease of use in a routine regulated testing environment.
