One of the key patents that underpins Cobalt’s revolutionary TRS100 product has been granted in the United States. The patent covers Transmission Raman analysis of pharmaceutical products including tablets, capsules, powders, gelcaps and other common dosage forms.

Cobalt to Exhibit Insight100 at Airport Exchange Conference in Abu Dhabi

Cobalt Light Systems will be exhibiting its new Insight100 system for screening of liquids, powders and gels at the Airport Exchange conference in Abu Dhabi on the 28-30 November 2011. The Insight100 system is a table-top system designed for aviation security checkpoints and other travel hubs. The system screens bottles in under 5 seconds and has an unprecedented low false alarm rate of <0.5% and a near ideal detection capability. Cobalt will be exhibiting on stand 61.

Cobalt exhibiting at the Transport Security Expo in London

Cobalt will be exhibiting at the Transport Security Expo on the 13-14 September 2011 in Olympia, London. At this show Cobalt will show a device for liquid screening in bottles using its proprietary Spatially Offset Raman Spectroscopy (SORS) technology. Cobalt can be found at the show at booth C1 and will be giving a presentation on Tuesday 13th September at 12:25pm.
